So I got some eyes on the C63 photos I took over the weekend, namely the owner of the car wash where we took photos beforehand (the owner of the C63 is trying to sell the car and had me take photos of it getting washed as well). I think the owner of the car wash wants me to take photos of customer cars there on a regular basis. Not sure on the details but that could be fun. I mean it's a high end place, they have a MP4-12C in there right now, for instance..

So I have a very noob question.
I'm going to upload +100 pictures on my flickr tonight.
Whenever I post pics that are in Flickr here on AZine, I always just go to individual pic and grab the HTML/BBCode, then erase all the other stuff and add in [img][/img]. Am I doing this wrong? Because it'll take so much time to post +100 pics here in AZine.
Is there any easier method to do this?
Thanks guys!

yeah, flickr isn't designed to mass-link photos from.
Now the way I would do this, is upload the images to my own webserver and then generate the link codes. If you do not have this option, my suggestion would be to use photobucket. When you upload a bunch of photos to photobucket at the same time, at the end itll give you an option to Generate Link Codes with the image tags - you just click in there once and it copies to clipboard:

and regarding the "proper" way to post from flickr, this is how you should do it:
copy and paste the code into the message. it's good to leave the bottom line in tact, because not only does it show you the title of the photo but also it links to your photostream, which is good for general web presence and backtracking purposes. You *can* delete the last two lines after pasting, if you don't want that information there. But you shouldn't have to put the IMG tags in again, after pasting that, the whole point of that code is so you don't have to do that.

I guess I should get a photobucket account now. It should make my life much easier.
Thanks again.
I was in China the past week. Just got back last night. Or Friday morning(?) for you guys.
I dunno. There were no places with free wifi, and I didn't have a data plan or what not to get online.

JS, If you want to post several pics with Flickr check out this site: http://includr.vispillo.org/ I used it a lot when we were posting pics on our travel blog from Flickr. Worked like a charm and MUCH easier than doing one at a time.
Way too expensive. I looked at the 5DmkIII.... About $4400 USD.
Although if you want to resell gear, China is a good place. My friend sold his 1D Mark II for like $1100. IIRC in the states a similar condition one can be had for like $800-900 or so.

I know Best Buy isn't the best place for photography gear but they are closing 50 stores and IMO this might lead to more in the future (think Circuit City), so keep an eye out for closing stores in your area, there might be some bargains
I'm so jealous you went there.. wow.
I spent some time with my friend's D3S over the weekend. The vertical grip sucks! It doesn't fit the hand well, its weird, I don't know what animal they designed it to be held by. I'm not sure what they design them for on Canons either but at least its like a solid block so you can really get a grip on it. On the D3S its like a thin slanting thing and it doesn't feel secure in your hand when you are holding it.

Yea i was quite surprised to find out about these mountains on where I was going in China. Had no idea what I was seeing because my mom and aunts dragged me along this trip because they can't go alone (getting too old)
It wasn't until I saw the heavy avatar postings about how they filmed some of the scenes from the movie here and based some of the 3D renderings off them that I realized how sweet this place was going to be.

Never had an issue with the vertical grip. Does its job the few times I've needed to use it.

...so, an awkward situation has arise.
In a photography forum, I had posted a lens for sale last night, and almost immediately I got a couple people pm-ing me wanting to know how much it's going to cost to ship to their area. I told both people that I would find out today and get back to them.
Today, the first guy that responded, pm'd me again regarding how much it was going to cost with shipping, by coincident, I had just gotten a price for shipping. I replied within minutes. With this particular forum, you can see whether someone has read your pm or not... and I noticed that he read it shortly after I sent it... I waited and waited for his reply... 2.5 hours later, I just assumed he wasn't interested. I hit up the other guy and offered it to him. He basically Paypal'd me right away, now the first guy is upset.
And by the way, he never said anything like "I'll take it!" He expressed interest and wanted to know how much it was going to cost with shipping... I did my part, pm'd him, waited for him for 2.5 hours AFTER he read my pm... no response (and I told him in the pm to "let me know").
Was I wrong?

I'd say the guy who is upset needs to man up and quit being a sissy. It's a free market, and especially on forum sales, kind of unpredictable with the timing sometimes. Getting the sale is more important to you as the seller than trying to please a buyer. And especially in this case, since he didnt respond for two hours, I'd say you were totally OK in selling to the other dude in the meantime.
