Ever seen a "Three-Word Story" thread? Where someone starts with the first three words of a sentence, and anyone can add on, but only three words at a time? Those tend to take some strange twists and turns.
I'm about to start one that begins - "Morgan lied about" - and just let it go from there. Given the creativity of some our board's members, I can only imagine the picture that will be painted about your adventures.
P.S. Note the obvious lack of red text.

As if turbos weren't enough.
Gazoo Racing (full name: Gazoo Racing Masters of Nürburgring) has unveiled a concept racing version of the famed Toyota GT86 that features both a turbocharger and a supercharger to offer up 320 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque.
The car, officially called the Sport FR Concept, oozes high performance out of its fenders and includes Gazoo brakes, spoilers and suspension tuning, according to FT86Club.com. However, few specifics were available.
Toyota teamed up with Gazoo earlier this year to help jump start it's small-displacement engines. Earlier this year, Toyota gave the green light to the iQ Supercharger. Gazoo was expected to build about 100 of those cars.

You guys crack me up.
To answer the question regarding the LA Trip - no, because I was selected about a week before the trip, I was unable to make it. But my dealer is working on getting me some other freebies to make up for it. The GM is not in the office this week but I will be speaking with him next week for some more details. He still wants to do a car show type thing on June 3rd at the dealership. At first I didnt want it but Im getting more free stuff out of it, so its cool with me.
And ttribe, you can call off the hounds. I brought the car home at 9pm so couldn't take real pics, but heres some quicky night pics, and yes, that is my CL too. Real pics to come tomorrow afternoon

All joking aside, congratulations on finally getting the car home. As antsy as we've been, it must have been even harder for you.

I guess I might as well let you guys know what caused all the delays:
1) My procrastination. Since I thought the car was coming in on the 18th I was waiting until this week to put the finance app in. I rushed to get everything together last Friday, and put it in too late to hear anything back in time for the weekend. Didnt get approved until Tuesday.
2) When I was able to get to the dealer Tuesday, we filled out all the paperwork, I gave them the down payment and I went on my merry way. The dealer said I could take the car home then, but I didnt feel comfortable doing so until the funds were in their hands.
3) I faxed all the required paperwork in this morning when I go to work. I also had my insurance agent fax the binder to the bank. At 4:30 this afternoon I got a call from the bank saying the binder had the wrong VIN, so they couldnt release the funds. I called my agent, he read it back, and it matched the window sticker. Turns out someone at Toyota fat fingered the purchase agreement and the invoice. They had the VIN starting with JT, it should have been JF.... I called the dealer, the salesman I dealt with was off for the day. I left a message with the financing guy. I ended up stopping by the dealer since he didnt call me back, he said there must be an error on the window sticker. We look at the car - nope, it was wrong in Toyotas system. Yay. So that took more time, and we had to redo ALL the paperwork. Fun stuff. Once again the dealer said I could take it home, and I caved in
In the short drive home, four different people stared as they passed, and another guy screamed "nice" as he passed me. Im not used to that in the CL
Anyway, at this point Ill let this thread return to a News thread and Ill create a build thread in Car Talk for it tomorrow

Its an odd feeling...yet one of pride as well. After 2.5 years I still get a lot of looks and thumbs up in the Challenger. When I added the stripes, it was like it started all over again.

No driving right now, still not running a front plate and the gigantic bugs come out at night. I may have the clear bra, but I still dont want to clean those fuckers off.

The CL got alot of comments actually the first few months it was out when I got it in 2000. Everything is just all about what is the newest most popluar, unless you drive a nsx.

And believe me, I still love the CL. Its not going anywhere. But Im not modding it anymore. Im just going to rack up the miles and maintain it. But hopping in it right after the FR-S is very weird. Im sure youre used to it now with your racing seats, but sitting on the CLs seats felt like a soft park bench compared to the FR-S' highly bolstered seats.

Thanks guys!
Yea, I need to find out if they are 2.5" or 3" projectors. I've got a set of RX350 bixenons here that were going on the CL, and Ive also got some FX-Rs, so I can go either way. I'd liked to get a bixenon in there, but I may just wait until I can get my hands on the JDM or BRZ headlights.
Id like to get rid of the chrome, but Im not sure how it would look. Doing black might look cheap, anthracite will blend in too much with the color of the car.......
Im focusing on the tail lights first though, not a fan of the chrome at all.
Thanks! Im going through the pics I just took and then Ill start a new thread

BRZ lights will come at a premium, knowing how the market is it would be the obvious upgrade that almost every scion owner will go for .
My recommendation would be color matched stock headlights with upgraded projectors such as RX350 or S2ks.
