Seriously.
Mazdaspeed forum is pretty damn intense.
Just think about it. Most of the members there are all like me.
Everyone's pretty damn argumentative for no reason.

Im not at the dealer, just called the GM to ask if they got a VIN yet, and he said the car is sitting in the service area right now. Theyre going through it to make sure everything is straight. I should be able to pick it up tomorrow or Monday.

Im working with my bank and the dealership for a loan, Ive also asked about a lease option just so I can compare numbers. We'll see how quickly that can get completed. I also need the VIN so I can get insurance.

this is why you are getting off azine going to the dealership to take pics and write down the VIN number.
Drive home and talk to the insurance while driving (I dont care if you dont have bluetooth driving with one less hand doesnt save live IMO) then as soon as you get home post pics here so we can all open a bottle of beer and celebrate!
Sucks that your not in socal to give me a test drive lol jk

Yea, FT86Club is a bit odd. There are those that know what the hell theyre talking about then there are the hellaflush guys. Theres also a mini-feud between the BRZ and FRS owners The BRZ guys get really butt-hurt when the FRS guys post in a "BRZ thread" - like theres a fucking difference??
Its no AZine, thats for sure.
I dont post much over there, Im still learning about boxer engines and MacPherson strut assemblies. Theres much more to it then what Ive been driving the past 8 years.

I bring value to acurazine. I've actually been offered money to post on other forums. A small salary if you will.
Perhaps I can make some threads on the forums mentioned above. Free of charge of course, because we're all family here.

It all depends on what the dealers financing dept can do. I was expecting the car on the 18th, so I didnt put in the application with my bank until yesterday. They need to review it, which takes a business day (i.e. Monday). My bank has 1.9% apr over 60 months. I should be able to get that rate, or very close - my credit is in the mid-700s. If the dealer can match or beat that, then Ill be getting the car today. Otherwise, I have to wait.

Yea yea I know. The dealer told me Id have it on the 18th though, and you know I procrastinate
I was up until 4am last night looking at wheels. 18s fit the car better, and Ill either have to run spacers in the rear or a staggered fitment. 8" +45 in the front seems to be pretty flush, but I might be able to get away with a either an 8.5" +45 or a 8" +42. The rear can obviously go wider - either an 8" +35 or 9" +45.
Supposedly the guys in Japan confirmed that you can fit a 9" wheel, but you need to keep the offset in the +38-42 range, however Rays got a +45 in the rear without issues (again, supposedly).
I was looking at the RPF1s just because of their weight, but TBH I dont like the way the look on the FRS. I want concavity and lightweight.
BTW, if anyone knows of a set of CE28s or LE28s for sale with a 5x100 PCD, PLEASE let me know.

Havent picked it up yet
Since this is the bible belt, the dealer is closed tomorrow I should be out of work by 11am on Monday, and Im going straight to the dealer. Hopefully my bank will have gotten back to me at that point, or Toyota financial can match the rates. I still will have to wait to bring it home until after 5pm when I have someone to bring me to the dealer, but at least I can test drive it.
I also need to find out when they are putting the clear bra on it.

Damn near everything is closed on Sundays. I've been living here for a little over 5 years, Im still trying to get used to it. Im originally from NY. Im used to being able to go to the deli at 4am if I was hungry. Here.....if its 3pm on a Sunday I have limited options. This is the only "city" that I know of where the 7-11s close at 11pm
