I think the new '06s with the new wheels look a hell of a lot better.
Those older 17s looked like shit and made the car look dumpy.

titan, seems like this Maxima will be a 7G Maxima:
As the Versa, new Sentra and, later this year, new Quest, new Maxima and all-new Altima designs demonstrate, Nissan will be very aggressive in keeping its products fresh and innovative. People turn to Nissan for products that enrich their lives in newer, better ways, and these new models fulfill that need and that promise. - Carlos Ghosn, 1/9/06

Think the keyword is "new", it doesn't say "all-new" like it does for the altima. They don't need an all new car with the maxima. Hopefully they come up with a stylish/sporty steering wheel design that seperates themselves from infiniti. And if it rivals the M, who cares, I don't mind paying less for more.

True in that sentence, but on the original link, throughout the press release the versa, sentra and altima all get referred to as all-new, the maxima only is said to be new. http://www.nissannews.com/corporate/...17012003.shtml

As time goes on I've actually grown to like the look of the 350Z more. A couple years ago I loved the G35 but was "meh" about the 350Z. I'd say I like them both equally when done right now.

i'm not a fan of the taillights on the 350z nor that external antenna, i mean what sports car now besides the mustang has an external antenna? we're not in the mid 90s anymore.

Well, it's obvious that not many people who have posted here have driven a MT car, because that's the 1st thing that should be changed on this car; most people really can't shift very well with the right elbow, or aren't 7ft tall.

Think the QR hp has been overstated on paper since its introduction. Grassroots did a comparo of the Specv, SI etc back in the day : Sentra measured 138.2hp, si measured 137.0 hp. I'm sure Altima and Sentra drivers appreciate the torque of the 2.5 engine, but Honda seems to be the one with the higher fuel efficiency while having specs that are fine for the segment:2.4 166hp/160lbft, they obviously could bump it up if they wanted to, but thats most likely for the next gen. Seems like everytime a Honda 4-cyl is reviewed its praised for its smoothness, refinement, etc. Nissan isn't known for that. Thats why I said turbo along the lines of the power output VW has.

the funnier part is, the specV would smoke a TSX
so r u saying that more displacement is a bad thing?

btw, i'm not saying hondas I-4 aren't good, they are one of the best IMO.
