Pic after pic.....I wanna like it so bad.....but somehow it just keeps looking more odd.
It's not horrible, but it just has alot of odd bits...headlights & taillights, weird looking front end...front air dam looks like it was cut and pasted onto the car...rear looks overly "fat"....overly bulbous looking.
I like the interior and the "mid-section" of the car when viewed from side profile.
Spoiler is neither here nor there.

I think I'll REALLY like this car in person... I say this because when I first saw pictures of the Maxima with them weird lights... I didn't care for the car at all... THEN I saw it in person, and instantly changed my mind...
from pictures alone, I LIKE the new Z, but those lights are going take a little getting used to...if I'm saying that now... when I see it in person... I'm pretty sure it's gonna go from "like" to "LOVE".

Thats totally opposite of me. I thought that I would like the new Maxima in person, It looked much UGLIER in person. Especially, the front end side view is ugly.
Seriously, If Maxima was made from KIA, everyone would make fun of its headlights.
Its funny how people tend to give another chance and TRY to like it.

^^ YES!!!!!! that is so hot. this new 370 has the same feeling!
Moog agreed on the front end, I'm not fancy on the effect going on there but I'm optimistic it could be changed easily. regarding the fat rear, the 350 was like that too, nothing new.

GTFO, Hyundai fanboi. Chances are good that (if the Maxima was made by Hyundai) YOU would be GA-GA-ing over the Maxima's front end and say "OOOH, How original that Hyundai has finally came up with an original design instead of ripping off everyone else's!"

Design wise looks more like the 280Z I had back in the early 90's. Also the headlights are here to stay I guess, mocking the 09 Maxima. Nice looking car for real!

Love those rims and the little side markers with the "Z". The overall shape of the car looks nice too. But the headlights, taillights, the two "fangs" in the front, the black piece of..material in the bumper are ugly IMO.
For the interior, I can't tell if the quality is better, but I personally like the current design more. The center console looks cheap to me. The steering seems to be fat and small, which I like.The fuel gauge and the info display (the left part of the dash, beside the tachometer) reminds me of the Mini Cooper.
