I think it looks a lot like a Jaguar f type, which isn't a bad thing but unless it's considerably cheaper than the Supra it will need more power.

It does look like they pursue price point rather than outright quality.

Their lineup reminds me of Mitsubishi, outside of one model (GTR/Evo) there is nothing I would imagine buying from them.
When we were shopping for a used 3 row for my wife, we nearly got a Pathfinder or QX60. Value for dollar seemed strong, it drove nice, and I did like my 08 EX35 and 07 350Z Roadster. That was until I did only a little research. What a mess those CVT's are. I'd never buy a Nissan with one.

That design has been around for so long that if the changes are not dramatic... it will not feel like a change at all.

But i hope it does not look like this as on the C&D page. But if the C&D is correct about the powertrain.... the 400hp in the Redsport has been around for years... not a lot of ppl cared since its performance is on par with 335hp B58...
I hope Nissan would re-tune that 3.0T and add a 6mt that you cannot get in Supra, Z4 or TT... . https://www.caranddriver.com/nissan/400z

Personally, I think that looks pretty good.

Reminds me of an Aston Martin somewhat esp. with that front.

Guess I like sea creatures?! Lol. It looks better than the new Supra. Doesn't matter as I'm sure this is just a mock, but I still think it looks clean. And if they put the Red Sport 400hp V6TT with a manual trans, all for a bit less than the new Supra, I think it'll do pretty well. As a previous Z owner, I hope they hit this out of the park.

I like it too. Agreed on the Aston resemblance, though I'm seeing it mainly in the greenhouse and dem hips.

I prefer it over the Supra as well, and I actually like the way the Supra looks. This design is much cleaner, devoid of fake vents.

The headlights are too far apart though.

Odds are they'll go off the rails & put the new Rogue face on it & make the Z overly angular... [/redtext?]

You stop that!

I sure hope not. I have a soft spot for '90s Nissans and older sports cars, I just want them to recapture some of that old magic.

Corporate grilles across the bread-and-butter models, sure. Or if it implemented well. I can't see that looking great on the Z though?

I think they should redesign it with the 280z 70's styling
