That said, I'l await the final marketing pics to decide whether it's a botched redesign or just a poor refresh. But as of now, the front fascia design is extremely disappointing compared to how wonderfully aggressive and simplistic the original design was.

Unlike most of everybody here, I really like it. It is polarizing, much like the first version, but I like it. It has alot of attitude without trying to add on mucho crapo to gain that attitude. It would not fit into what I need for a vehicle, but otherwise I would be all over looking hard at this!

Plus the size does look like they won't be putting in a 3rd row, unless it is even tighter than an X5. That does make one wonder what the heck Infiniti has planned for the market. CUV's are the in thing now and not having a 3 row luxury CUV does not make sense. The assumption was that with the EX, that Infiniti would grow the FX to include the 3rd row.

i think the over all profile still look looks good but the rear end looks especially over-stylized. Trying to hard to be crazy? It doesn't look mean like the current generation. Looks more like those asian catfish.
that 5.5L engine should be tasty, though.
I wonder how the interior will be.
The thing will be sweet, i am a big fan of the current gen.

It looks like the current FX with different headlight/taillight design? I was hoping to see more drastic changes for the new model. Something just doesn't look right to me about the new light assemblies.

ummmmmmmmm are you sure it wasn't the EX? The FX hasn't even been unveiled yet at any major car shows like Detriot (maybe in Geneva in march) why would it be in a dealership in Florida?

Looks pretty decent. Being an FX35 owner, I don't see drastic changes on the new one.

well, the first one was in Geneva (I believe), and the 2nd one appears to be somewhere in L.A. They probably figure there're more people/exposure in L.A.

I don't get it. The EX looks more like a baby FX. Soooo, what you're saying is that the soon-to-be 2G FX looks like a grown-up EX (or a matured baby FX?)
