Infiniti Prices Updated FX Series - - Source: The Car Connection
The newly upgraded Infiniti FX series will start from $37,800, the Nissan upscale luxury brand announced on Thursday. The rear-drive FX35, the entry model, gains leather seats, power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, and new gauges with its new base price. The FX45 gets more power for its V-8 engine; it now produces 320 hp, up from 315 hp. In addition, it also gains a sunroof, Bluetooth compatibility, and aluminum roof rails for its new base price of $49,750. New colors and run-flat tires are on the options list, as is satellite radio with a color-keyed antenna.

Nissan raises prices on Infiniti FX - - Source: Automotive News
Nissan North America Inc. gave its 2006 Infiniti FX crossovers hefty price increases, but added standard equipment and modified the exterior. The vehicles arrive in showrooms at month's end.
The FX35 with rear-wheel drive costs $38,450, and the all-wheel-drive version is $39,950. Both are up $2,700 over their most recent 2005 prices.
The FX45 is $4,150 above 2005's price. It is $50,400 and comes with all-wheel drive.
The crossovers feature a new grille, bumper, wheel design and colors. Added standard features include a 300-watt audio system, rearview monitor and an advanced airbag system.
The FX35 has a 3.5-liter V-6 engine rated at 280 hp. It's mated with a five-speed automatic transmission with manual mode. Leather seating, heated front seats and a telescoping steering wheel are added as standard features this year.
The FX45 is powered by 4.5-liter V-8 engine that makes 320 hp. It is paired with a new five-speed automatic transmission with manual mode. Upgrades from the FX35 include a sport-tuned suspension, aluminum roof rails and a sunroof.
The FX's refinements come on the heels of a 13.5 percent sales decline for the vehicles in 2005. Combined sales of the FX35 and FX45 dipped to 26,786 units in 2005 from 2004's tally of 30,964.
All prices include $650 shipping.

Looks horrible. I was hoping it would appear like a larger version of the EX.

why are they against it though? i think it makes sense for infiniti to sell a larger suv now since they have the smaller one coming in. but then again, it won't be what it currently is...an suv that's like a sports car.

If this is true about the 3rd row for the next gen FX, then I think that they have their eyes set directly on the X5 and its new design (longer, now offers a 3rd row)...
