Hyundai: Sonata News
I think you need to look up what a troll means beforehand. It's pretty obvious the one here is you, unless you consider expressing my opinion as "trolling"
Troll: In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[5] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[6]

Bingo! You nailed the dude pretty well.
Good job.
Well I'm not really trying to "nail" anyone.
Just not sure how what I said constitutes as "trolling". You say something negative about a car most people on this forum don't/won't even own, and you get called "troll" and attacked.

Yeah, bunch of weirdos wasting precious time on this forum.
Advice: If you think you are done with Honda/Acura just move on and don't come back in here, no need for selfish negative crappy posts...
Yeah, its not bad at all but definitely far more bland than the current Sonata which is a shame to me. I do like the headlights but the grille is a massive step backwards. I have to say that the best looking cars in this class today as far as I'm concerned would be the Accord, 6 and the Fusion. The Camry is awful, this Sonata is bland, the Optima is still nice but the refresh is worse than the original, the Altima is awful, the Legacy is weird, the Malibu is OK...

ETA: Last time I checked, this forum is called Automotive News, not "Honda/Acura-Blind-Fan-Boys-Only News."

No one elected you King of Acurazine. Keep your opinions about who is allowed here to yourself.
Advice: If you dont like it, stay in the Acura Forum section or dont come back in here.
Nope, I understand what he was trying to say; however his disputation as usual is completely abstract and holds no real substance to the conversation currently in this thread. It seems as if he posts purely to gain assidiuty toward himself. Not to mention you can make any car look bland with certain pictures. It seems he doesn't seem to quite grasp the concept of elocution, but I'll just leave it at that.

Looks like a logical evolution to me. Hyundai is not going to stray too far from the recognizable styling that has transformed the company here in the US.
The family sedan used to sell on reliability and value (Honda/Toy), but with the quality improvements made by Ford, GM, and especially Mazda, styling has been a driving force in midsize sedan purchases. Hyundai needs to keep the Sonata fresh.
Like many of you, I still think the Fusion and Mazda6 are a tick above the rest, and lose sleep at night wondering how Toyota still sells so many stale Camrys based on its 1980s reputation.

And while Toyota is still selling many Camrys, it now has to do it by putting $$ on the hood/aggressive pricing - which it didn't have to do in the past (the ATP for the Camry is towards the bottom for the segment, whereas the Accord is still near the top).
The side profile is very reminiscent of the VW CC. Overall, I am not sure how I feel about it yet. Looking forward to seeing it in person at the NYAIS as I find a lot of cars these days look noticeably different in person compared with marketing photos.
^^ Previous gen did not age well at all.
Side profile looks like a Chrysler 200.
This is much better than the previous design....that being said, the front end does not jive well with the rest of the design. I like the side and rear.....the front end just looks odd and "cheap".
I'd like to see some real world pics.

The side profile is more remiscent of the old Azera or the A6 than the CC which apes the original CLS (hence, referred to as carbon copy in automotive design circles).
Think Hyundai over-reacted and went a bit too conservative w/ the sheetmetal.
Will reserve final judgment til seeing it in the flesh, but like the new Genesis, Hyundai designers seem to be a bit off when doing their latest rendition of the hex-shaped grill.
I think it looks a lot like the new Legacy.
