The engine produces 192 horsepower at 7,000 RPM and 162 lb-ft. of torque at 4,400 RPM, while achieving an EPA-estimated city/highway/combined fuel economy of 21/29/24 mpg

Oh lord, have mercy, what is the bloody point!?
I love the sentence about the fuel efficiency:
"EPA-estimated fuel economy on the four-cylinder Crosstour is 21 mpg1 city and 29 mpg1 highway, a significant increase from the 271-horsepower 2WD V6 model’s EPA estimated 18 mpg1 city and 27 mpg1 highway."
That is hardly any significant difference!!! For that minimal difference, I would go with a V6 any time of the day!
Anyway, I thought that the Accord was coming to the end of its current generation cycle?! I do like the Crosstour, but this silly and pointless exercise is just rather laughable.

Toyota Venza 3.5 2WD 268hp: 19/26mpg
Difference: +2 City/+1 Hwy
Infiniti G25 218hp: 20/29mpg
Infiniti G37 328hp: 19/27mpg
Difference: +1 City/+2 Hwy
As you can see, engine size and power don't matter too much within the same model range. So IMO, engine downsizing doesn't really do a whole lot. You will probably see a bigger difference between a Camry I4 and a Camry V6, but that's probably because the V6 has more features and it's generally much heavier.

I don't think it's quite close to Aztek-ugly but I've yet to hear any compliments about the Crosstour's looks from anyone who isn't a Crosstour owner.
The GT-R has incredible numbers but I still wouldn't own one if given the opportunity
there are many other cars in that price range that I'd rather have. I've always gravitated towards cars with a good price to performance ratio but looks precedes all of that.

it wouldn't look as bad as it weren't for that Gillette Mach3 razor of a grille.

Honda figured out that its slow-selling Crosstour, the Accord-based, slope-backed, crossover, would still have plenty of pep and get better gas mileage with a four-cylinder engine.
So for the 2012 model year, we finally have a price on the optional model:$27,655, excluding an $810 destination fee. The model officially went on sale today at Honda dealerships.
The base EX four-cylinder Crosstour comes with features that include heated side mirrors, a backup camera, Bluetooth connectivity, seven-speaker stereo and a 10-way power driver's seat.
That figure is $2,685 less than a base EX V-6-equipped Crosstour, which starts at $30,340 and adds more features than just the engine, including noise cancellation, fog lights, chrome door handles, dual-zone automatic climate control and a four-way power passenger seat.
The EX-L trim four-cylinder Crosstour is available for $30,705. The model comes with dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, power passenger seat and leather upholstery. The four-cylinder is rated at 21/29 mpg city/highway and 24 mpg combined.
The four-cylinder is only available with front-wheel drive, while the V-6 has an all-wheel-drive option — it's available for $1,450 on the EX-L trim.

They managed to eff it up a little bit more. Amazing.
I spotted the current one this morning in my rearview mirror. The sheer size of its face scared me away.

i think it looks a little better, the visual mass in the front has been reduced greatly now that it looks like a Subaru.

Looks like they made the face smaller and the butt bigger. All-in-all .... meh.
