Depends what they use to make it "light weight". If they just remove all the hybrid stuff, they could theoretically make it less expensive. Obviously if the build material changes, that's a whole new ball game.

Interesting question.

#001 obviously is highest bidder for charity auction for the PR/feel good.

#003/004 to brown-nose the high profile celebs that will continue that PR campaign/spread the word.

So I'm guessing someone who can be in line in front of people like Leno/Seinfeld would be someone (very?) high-up in Honda who wants one...? (IE, Bob Lutz when he advocated for the CTS-V Wagon and said he would be in line for one like all the enthusiasts....but just near the front of the line, heh) maybe the folks over at NSXPrime would know more.

As soon as I read light weight, I imagine a tone of CF and everyone just jizzing themselves for every .02LB they take off the vehicle.

It would be nice if it was only the hybrid stuff that gets taken off

NSX pic from Friday
My salesman asked me if I wanted to see the NSX on Friday while I was in getting my airbag inflator replaced. It's gorgeous in person. A REAL SILVER hahah. They wouldn't let me touch it though. I even got to walk under it. It's completely sealed!

even at meets, you shouldnt touch cars. or parking lots... for that matter

lookin is fine! looking under is fine! inspecting brakes, wheels is fine! just dont touch!

I just spoke to someone at Hendrick Acura here in Charlotte. Supposedly Mr. Hendrick bought VIN 001 and 002. 001 is in his personal collection offsite and 002 is just for display at Acura.

Naw dawg...the Canadians have proven one thing: They don't really steal much. Only crimes happen on Canada Day...including rioting in some 1-block party-strip in Edmonton. Only in that 1 block radius. No more.



The real problem with the S2000 is how it's going to make through the 2343253345 feet of snow. And duck around all those giant@$$ pickup trucks,
