I dont like that my sub is not protected by anything in my trunk.. is there anything besides the ugly waffle guard, that i can put on? Its a 12" sub. Anything chrome? Or somthing that looks kinda flashy?

 

if you want a grill guard, you'll have to go custom..
but i dont' really see a necessity in that feature..

I had a custom made box for 3-10s w/grill and it was useless. Chances are you'll never be packing your trunk to the point where the items within puncure the cone of your woofer. Just learn to pack things conservatively and efficiently.. that means no sharp objects directly in front of the sub.

wait I just remembered... if you only have one 12, I believe i saw a pre-made box w/guard in the Crutchfield mag... www.crutchfield.com

 

They sell the material here but you'll have to cut it yourself.

 

you can get universal waffle style grills from anywhere. theyre really cheap too. they protect the best, but they dont look that good

I've been so busy with work and yada, yada, yada But it's been done for awhile - Custom enclosure with black vinyl (not the cheap stuff) and blue plexiglas. Just haven't found the time to take some good pics. I'm detailing the TL this Friday (finally a day off work) and will take some pics and post 'em. I think I'll make you proud Ron

 

I know of a nice ass chrome grill (or silver) but the only drawback is that they have the name of the Company on it "Audiobahn"
