Has anyone added subs and a amp to control them using the stock head unit...I heard it has a preout for amps and if anyone has, can you give me the heads up on cost from most places

First off! Welcome

Second, this topic has been discussed numerous times and im sure a search will yeild more that enough information.

Third, Which car do you have or plan on doing this to? If i am not mistaken, none of the stock Acura headunits have pre-out leads, you need to hook up a Line Output Converter. The line output converter is about $20 or so, and you need to buy a wiring kit for the amp.

I have a Rockford Fosgate 700s and 2 12" Infinity Kappa subs with a 1 Farat Cap and fusebox...need amp power wires and pre out...sorry for not explaining
