I am looking at spending close to a grand, fifteen hundred at the most to replace the stereo in my car. What would be the best head unit that could play mp3's and have built in xm, single or double din? What would be a good component set to replace the factory speakers. And a 10" sub should be plenty of bass for me. any suggestions on a set up that would work well in this car? thanks for any opinions.

ok i decided to but this HU off crutchfield its the Alpine CDA-9857 http://www.crutchfield.com/S-8cIH1gf...0CDA9857&g=300

now what would be some good components to install in the doors that wont have any problem fitting?

also, does intalling an aftermarket HU get rid of the bose EQ?

 

If you install an aftermarket amp and HU, the Bose EQ is out of the loop.
