Now, I know some of you are going to say "search"....but since i've been using the "search" button the last 3 days trying to dig up information on this...I havent come up with anything really. If you have any HELPFUL advice to give, please do. If not, stop reading this.

My setup:

HU-JVC KD-AVX33

AMP: Alpine MRP-M450

Speakers: still unsure...suggestions?

The Goal:
Better sound for rock, rap, and really whatever else I play...those are the main two.

Alright, my questions:

1. Can the stock bose amp be replaced with another amp? If so, would a Mono amp work?

2. If I scrap the bose amp (which I plan on..unless one of you has a better idea of what to do/make the system work better), would I be able to run a mono amp to power my whole system (all the CL speakers)?

3. On the other hand...if I decide not to use the alpine amp, would it have a negative effect on the HU because of the ohm difference?

4. Does anyone have a good writeup on an install like this?

Alright, well how about this....I want to run new speakers to the fronts and rears...all im looking for are good highs mids and lows...

Suggestions on:
speakers (price range for all 4=$200)
Amp (price range= $150)
