problem with either headunit or install

problem with either headunit or install

i've installed a kenwood ddx7015 into a TL, sounds sweet. i got a 2nd one for the cl, when i installed it into the car, there seems to be a whining noise when i start up the car...only on the front right speaker. i checked the connection, ground nor positive is touching anything. what could it be? It also whines when i accelerate. please help! thanks in advance.

THe CL has an OEM amp. You need to bypass the amp and run the speakers straight off the Kenwood HU power, or go RCA into them instead of speaker (are you experiencing very high volume at very low volume settings?).

The TL only has an amp on the sub.

oh crap, you serious on that cl issue? i have to run straight up wire from HU straight to the 4 speakers? damn that seems a lot of work, mind as well replace those speakers...

Or you can splice the wires going in and coming out of the stock amp, that's what I did, just bypassed my stock amp.
