Noob here just got an in-dash installed

hey guys, ...actually i signed up before but my little bro came on and changed the password and i coudn't get back on so i just made a new username.

i just got a Clarion in dash 7" touchscreen installed the other day, it doesn't look nearly as bad as i thought it would with the very wide/long stock radio space..so i was pretty happy...my next thing is a system to go with it...any suggestions? thanks

well as far as im concerned the stock speakers sound excellent...i just want to add bass. i was thinking somewhere along the lines of 2 12" Kicker L7's or a 12" W7 sub.

if your add W7 or L7 you will not be able to hear your STOCK spekers ( stock sux IMHO) if you want to keep them get some other subs,,, but if you think that you'll be upgrading your sound system in future GET W7 , you will not regret

if u want to hear ur stock speakers still i would get something like JL W0's or W3's because it won't be so much bass that you can't even hear your music anymore.

PM me if you're interested, i have each lying around my house

W7 needs some serious power to really kick it. Plus it cost quite a bit....although it's one of the best damn subs I've ever heard. Another cheap alternative would be an IDMAX. Sounds almost like the w7. Also Kicker Solobaric sounds damn good too for a good price. But like a couple people are saying...with a w7...you won't hear the stock subs.

Stock Bose speakers amps sound ok. At higher volumes they clip out and distort. I'm working on my system right now. Currently I got PG TI500.4 amp with 2 MB Quart Discuss subs. And just got in my A/D/S components. Here are some pics: http://www.bui4ever.com/pics/cl_ice
