Does anyone know if these speakers will fit?

I know we can use 6.5inch speakers in the front, but will these clear the windows?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...717641336&rd=1

Does anyone know if these sound good? I'm looking for clean, natural sound for variety of music from classical to accoustic to rap and back again. Thanks!

6.5" stock, but it might be hard to fit an aftermarket magnet from a 6.5" speaker without hitting the window when it is rolled down.

BTW.... WRONG FORUM

SE said that most aftermarket 6.5" components will require cutting the door panel to get them to fit. 5.25" is safer.

How did you mod your door panel to get your 6.5's to fit?

You're gonna have to cut some of the speaker opening (metal) out to get the magnet to fit.

I ended up getting the 5.25 a/d/s 235is because I didn't want to do any cutting as of yet because I wasn't sure if I'll be happy with the a/d/s. My friend has the 500 series and it sounds damn good...nice highs but not too high like the MB Q series are or titanium domes are. I know these are bottom of the barrel, but my friend said anything by a/d/s sounds good...so we'll see. Should be getting these guys mid week. I'll tell u guys how it goes and post some pics too.

Yeah, you definitely want soft dome tweeters if you want soft highs. I looked at MB Quart, but they were definitely too tinny for my taste.

ADS makes very good speakers, even their most reasonably prices ones are good. Take some pics during the install.

Damn these things are a real beauty! Just got them in! BI-AMPLIFABLE!!!!! I was amazed at how big the crossovers were. I had Polk DB series and the crossovers are puny compared to these!
