Ipod Connection to stock head unit
Hey everyone...
i need some help...
I have an 04 TL/non Navi, and im trying to connect my ipod to the stock head unit.
Been doing as much research as i can to see what i can come up with..but havnt been able to find a suitable solution yet..I dont want to mount an Ipod stand so it will be visible at all. much rather to hide it in the glove compartment..
Any ideas, help, recommendations, pictures with regards to where i can install it, what wiring i need is greatly appreciated..

I have been searching for the same thing. In looking around I found this: http://ipodcarparts.com/acura-ipod-i...put-p-187.html. I haven't purchased it, but it looks promising. If you give it a try, post your results.

I have looked at that too,but its really pricey for a connection wire that i can make myself. My car doesnt have navigation system, so no matter what i have to use the ipod to select the song and play it.
With this model it seems like it is compltiable with the factory system so you can control the play list by using the audio system in the car.
I am going to stores around my gown to see what is avaliable. Cause what i really want to do is to bring in AUX connection from the XM radio and make the connection to my ipod that way.
i ll keep post of what i find.

I like that one..the video that shows how to install it to the S2000 can almost grantee that it works with out TLs as well. Now here is my questions:
- its saying that you ll connect the NEO box using a wire harness to the factory radio by using the CD.
1) once you do that, do you still have the option of using the CD player as well? or are you no longer able to use the CD player and only have the Ipod?
2) does the kit comes with the harness required for you car or do you have to buy that separate? I mean for $200 it better comes with everything i need..

just by connecting the Ipod i dont want to lose the my 6 CD changer. thats why it seems like the Acura iPod Interface with Auxiliary Input from

works the best. I dont use my satellite radio, and it also comes with the wire harness that you need to connect to your car.
