HU help 2002 TL

My OEM HU will not load or eject CDs. I tried taking the battery cable off to reset, but the problem came back. I need help deciding on weather its worth getting a replacement OEM Head unit, used, and an IPOD/XM hook up or getting a new HU with these features. If I stay with the OEM what IPOD/XM connector should I get? If it makes better sense, or dollars, to update the HU then what are some suggestions and what Bose connectors are recommended to keep factory speakers/sub?

If you are fine with the current system I see no reason to update to a aftermarket headunit. I'd just purchase a auxillary input and go MP3 rather then CD and make it easier on yourself. The stock radios in the TL and CL are known to have issues..

Does the '02 6 CD HU have an auxiliary port or would I have to get a FM modulator?

There's a auxillary port that the auxilary adapters use. No FM modulator but you do have do get access behind the headunit.
