CD Changer
hey everyone, i have a 99TL, and i listen 2 alot of CD's. when i bought the car, the 6disc cd changer didnt come with it, nor as a acessory. can i buy 1 and put it in the stock Bose HD??? will it work? has any1 done it b4??
you should be able to connect almost any alpine cd changer to the stock bose headunit using the blitzsafe adapter.. you might be able to use other brands as well but i know for sure that alpine will work...
Try this thread. I was in the same boat as you, so I summarized my endevour when I finished to help others. Good luck.

I put mine under the front passenger seat facing the back. I did this for two reasons. First, it was easier to wire this way. I ran the wire under the center console and had it come out under the seat. Second, I can change CD's while still in the car without having to get out to get into the trunk.
It can be a potnetial problem for people sitting in the back seat, but I can live with that. Good luck.

I'm sorry, sometimes I'm a little slow. What wire? The only items you need are the Blitzsafe ($99) and the Alpine S630 ($229). Mine is also a '99. I'll try and help best I can.

Once I got all of the information, not that long. The hardest part was getting off the side panels in order to get behind the radio. If you use all of the threads linked in this thread, you could have it in within a couple of hours, maybe less. Good luck.
