Question Amp & sub to TL stock system recommendation

Hey guys,
I've upgraded the four speakers but I think I need more bass...what kind of amp & sub do you guys recommend? I don't want extreme, Earth moving bass..just a little more to enjoy music in the car...

Soft rock, hip hop ...mostly but I do listen to others.

My budget for sub is around $300..maybe $400 max...

I just stopped by CarToy and they recommended JL 500/1 amp and 10W3-D4 .... totals around $650...too much for a "little more" bass. I don't need a whole lot more bass..just a tad more to fill in the bottom end. I've replaced all four speakers w/ Polk already so high/mid are very nice.

i agree with CarToy, JL's are very clean and JL 10W3's would match that "little more" bass you're looking for. And price wise, i do think that you have to spend around 500-700 for a decent amp and sub--you can also consider infinity kappa perfects for subs, they cost around the same as W3's but they have more power. -- Sorry i can't help you in depth with this but i'm more of a bass head so i never really looked into sub/amps that would add that extra lil bass.

JL is overpriced unless you get them at wholesale, then yet, there's better out there.
For a SQ budget system I recommend an Adire Shiva 12" sub ($125 includes shipping) and you can find a USX2100 amp on sale for $129. Just build your own sealed box at 1.3 cf and $50 in fuse/wiring.
