Neon under dash

I wanted to put blue neon under my dash. Not sure what size bulb to buy. Has anyone done it yet?

Not sure what you mean by what size "bulb" to use. Neon comes as a tube, sold in various lengths. a 1 foot tube would be more than enough.

Been done a zillion times. Not sure if its an outdated thing to do at this point??? I did see a guy that used neon behind each wheel. it was aimed to be shinning through the disc brake and caliper, rather than aimed on the ground. (Done with a clear tube around the neon, painted all around except for a single slot of light to come out) That was interesting, but i guess you'd have to clean the thing practically every day.

u can always wire them to turn on when u start ur car but that is a waste cause in the daytime u won't see them newayz... it would be better to wire them to a switch so u have the capability of turning them on and off when u want... and yes the switch should be on a fuse... u don't wanna risk a short going around ur car... well actually i never wire it without a fuse... just tap into the parking lights.. that is the easiest..
