6x9 speakers question

I was thinking about replacing my 6x9's in my car, but I didn't want to put an on it. So i was wondering what 6x9's would sound the best in both bass, quality and clarity?

My experience is you looking for more bass, but aftermarket speakers are made to be used with an amp. I would look into getting speakers that are made to replace the factory speakers...I want to say avincar but don't quote me makes replacements that got pretty good reviews. My with the power of ebay and the blackmarket get a 4 channel amp for 50 bucks it would sound much better than that piece of shit stock amp...

Uhhh.... The stock signal going to those speakers is very lousy (search!). Replacing the speakers alone will not get you much.

I thought replacing the stock 6x9s made a huge difference, even with the stock amp. I suppose it depends on what you replace them with and what you expect. It's not going to be like having an amp and sub. And the wrong selection of 6x9s could even be worse. But with a good choice, yes, it can be much better.

im going to run these on the stock amp for now. will buy an amp for them to push the speakers with the correct power wattage.
