hey im thinkin about gettin a flup up screen in my 99 tl but im not sure if it will get in the way of my navi. anyone got any good pics of one around?

 

A flip up screen will get in the way.... Unless you have one of these....



This is called a single din FLIPPED dash kit. It puts the screen on the bottom instead of the top.

 

Call me a newb, but why would you need another screen if you have a navi screen already? Can't you use the Navi screen for DVD's already, I don't see the logic behind adding another screen unless you're going for the show car/ghetto look...put a tv everywhere possible...

 

 

wouldnt that get in the way of the shift gate when it flips up since its lower? idk i guess not if its been done b4. but why wouldnt you want to have your navi screen tellin you where to go while watching somethin like war of the worlds with bass so loud you feel it in your chest? haha jk jk but if i wanted screens everywhere i would be asking about a headrest not in up front where i can enjoy it. plus if i buy a flip up vs moding my navi to play dvds, which one do you think is going to have better quality? a new lcd or a factory nav screen from 8 years ago?
