Hi all. I searched around AZ and other sites on the net, and haven't been able to get a clear answer as to what I would need to install an aftermarket Remote Start/Alarm combo on my 06 TSX. I was looking into getting either an Audiovox APS997 or APS998, or a Viper 791xv or 7900.

I have read that some people have had to use several different modules(bypass, etc) to get the RS and Alarm to work correctly, yet I have also seen that DEI makes a module for the TSX that requires no key to be left in the car.

My two questions are:

1. If I get the DEI bypass, would I need anything else to get the system to work properly?

2. Since the DEI bypass doesn't require a direct interface with a Directed brand alarm, could I use that module on a different brand of RS/Alarm, such as the Audiovox?
