Lets try to keep this exclusive okay? We want as many Acura's as we can get there.

I understand there will be some exceptions but this is all about Acura. Lets not lose focus of that...

sure there are, but most of them are on Congress Ave or on the grass/sidewalk. I don't think the state troopers would like that very much. There is likely to be less traffic on the North side of the capital and we could try for a photo on that side.

To what I remember sorta. Not a lot of cars can park right in front plus security would be a issue there as well.

technically all of our cars are hondas. honda just put the "A" badge to make the higher end hondas further away from the honda name

i understand not wanting a whole bunch of riced out cars, and generally there are a good amount older civics and accords that come to meets.

exactly. if it we wanted a bunch of that there then we would say it was a honda/acura meet, but its not. so lets keep it acuras for the most part.

Mark-I pm'd you about the drive.

Also, sorry, but I am going to have to side with E on this one. I do NOT want some hotshots showing up in their civics and driving along with us.

Well, to be honest, I am worried about some of the RSX guys as well. No offense, because I know you , but when you get in to those types of cars, you also get into a different mindset. I know that I am generalizing, but for the most part, it is true.
I want this event, drive in particular, to be enjoayable and safe. The only way to ensure this is to exclude a certain group of people-and I am more than willing to do so. In the two years of my organizing drives, I have seen all to often the consequences of such a mindset when combined with the thrill of the drive. Add in the fact that we will be videotaping the event, and that will push these people to the stupid and crazy realm and try to show of for the camera.

The rules will be set down before we go on the drive at the starting point. Lets not start getting our feathers ruffled, not here, not now.

This drive will be for the enjoyment of all Acura owners.

I certainly don't want people to think this is an opportunity to race. We will be on public roads and the the laws are still the same. The video camera(s) will be focused only on those cars that display a sense of the Acura image and branding to be used (maybe) for national car advertising. They are not there to video thrillseekers. Nor are they there to video anything other than Acuras.

If we have some people tag along they will be in the back of the pack so we can get exclusive Acura shots. I'll personally make sure that this happens.

i think the majority of azine members want the meet to be exclusive to acura vehicles. if anyone else wants to come they can tag along 1/4 mile back, and not be in any pics.

I dont like that STATEMENT for I have a friend coming up with his S2000 and also staying with GRAYSON (ATXCLS) Who has a VIPER! WTF!!! Just because he doesnt have a acura u want to treat them like a wicked stepchild! Every meet we have had in the past there has been other makes and models!! LOT of members have moved on from acura to other companies!! My next vehicle will not be an acura so does that mean I'm kicked out of the club
