Question Splash/Mud Guards, Trunk Cargo Net?

For the 21 Type S, is there a trunk cargo net available? I had this with my RL and it came in handy.

Also, my Type S seems to only have front splash/mud guards, is a set for the rear available from Acura? It's a bit confusing because when I've googled it, I get listings that seem to say the guards are sold as a front+rear set "dealer installed option", so how is it my car only seems to have the fronts?

Cool curious how mine wound up with "just" fronts that are also not painted to match, just black.

Does anyone have the cargo net? I am trying to figure out where the anchor/attachment points are for it in the trunk, I can't really see any obvious hooks/grommets like my RL's trunk had? There were a few different configurations you could clip it into in the RL.

Actually I found a youtube clip that explains it - until you get the net and the install kit it comes with, there aren't any anchors LOL. A bit more involved than my RL was where the anchors were already there and you literally just had to buy the net and clip it in

You probably found the same video that I did (install on a TEP Type-S?). I bought the cargo net from a local dealer for like $65, and then bought
this this
rivet nut gun for the install. Worked like a charm, and honestly, the worst part was cleaning up the edges from the drill holes in the top. I use the cargo net weekly, so for me it was worth it.

Type S mud guards state only black ones are available. I can CONFIRM this...with my '24, body colored ones ARE AVAILABLE as they are for other TLX models
AND they do fit just fine. Even though Acura says they won't. Std. Type S lower valance area is same as other TLX's. My new '24 Type S is still at dealer being
finished...but, there was a BIG question from my Serv. Mgr. and my Master Tech...who's one of the few NSX Certified Master Techs also, has been the only person
working on my Acura's. HE even said the "body colored ones won't fit"....well, he didn't think so. They ordered a white set and a black set and when car was up on
rack and OEM wheels/tires removed....I had him "trial fit" the white ones to see IF they actually would fit fine....as I told them they would.....and gee...they do fit. So,
Acura is giving their Serv. Dept's. bad info. Now IF you choose to have installed the optional side aero pieces, then I think there might be a problem I don't know for
sure. But, what's true is....the black and all body colored mudguards are all exactly the same....just the color is different.

I had the white ones put in the trunk, since I will install at home. Done a TON of them over the yrs. Mainly 'cause they charge too much to install a very simple item
that takes no time to do. A few screws out, then in....ta da....done. They are sold as 4 piece sets.

I also special ordered from Parts the '22 and '23 Type S optional Y-spoke lightweight dark gray wheels to put on my new '24. Same wheel as was on PMC Edition...only
in Copper and is now an option....in Copper for '24 and '25 Type S models. I had my fav Continental DWS 06 Plus tires mounted on those wheels.. Not keeping OEM
wheels/tires.

Also, looks like just approx. 500 Type S version were made in '24. Very few '25's have been built as I tried to get one...but, got lucky with finding my '24. Had a '22 and realized
it's a great performance sports sedan, that's hard to beat overall as a fun driving, quality, lots for the money vehicle. I will soon own my 12th and 13th Acura. My '25 RDX A-Spec
Advance is almost at dealer. Delivery day will be picking up both of these.

I think 2025 just might be the last of the TLX's as we know them now. And it's a shame. Under rated, and valued as a great sports sedan. Got to own one for awhile to appreciate.
Most testers drive around the block, sit in it, bloviate about some BS issues...but, they don't really know the car. I do. As well as RDX's, MDX's, early TLX's, TSX. My current
SUV is a '23 MDX Type S-Advance. Wife and I really like it. But, due to size, she can't park in tight garage and we have owned 2 RDX's that she really loved. A '19 A-Spec and
a '22 A-Spec-Advance. I really liked that '22, but, fell for the newer revised MDX...a '22 MDX Advance. THEN...the Type S-Adv. version came out. Had to have it. It has been a
special SUV. It will be traded for her '25 RDX. Now, I feel, these 2 new Acura's will be just right for us. We'll keep these for longer than past versions...LOL!!

For the rear mudguards, they are most likely available separately as an option, and you can install them after the fact by purchasing them through your dealer. It would be a good idea to ask them if there is a specific rear kit for your 2021 Type S.
