i got my 04' 2 days ago, very nice car. i got full apron and wanted mud guards. salesguy wrote up the order (a few weeks back) with mudguards, but when i picked up the car he said they could not put mud guards on because of the full apron kit. is this really the case ???

 

Mudgaurds will not go on when the side skirts and rear apron from the aspec kit are installed. But if you have it in writing I would go ahead and get them from the dealer and sell them.

 

Maybe they could throw in a trunk tray or wheel locks instead?

 

dealer took the price of mudguards off, dealer wound up owing me a few $$$ after registration costs....

 

That is correct. The front mud flaps will not fit with the side under body spoiler installed, and the rear mud flaps will not fit with the rear under body spoiler installed. However, if you paid for them, tell him that you want them anyway. If they are on the order, then tell him you want them. Quite frankly, the sales guy should have know that the mud flaps wouldn't fit with the under body spoiler.

If you want further conformation, check acuras website. Go to build and price. Under Exterior accessories select side underbody spoiler, rear under body spoiler, or both. Then try to select splash guards. You will get the following message:

Build & Price Error

Your selection of Splash Guards conflicts with the following selected option(s): Side Under Body Spoiler
Clicking 'OK' will remove Side Under Body Spoiler
Otherwise, click 'Cancel'.

Hope this helps you out.

 

Looks like you already got them to take the price out of the deal. Good don't let them keep any additional money .
