Didn't dealers say the protection package has two options?

Wheel locks, all-seasons floor mats, then either trunk tray or splash guards?

 

There is no factory specified protection package. The "protection package" is determined by the individual dealer, limited only by his/her greed in trying to sell you stuff you don't need or want, like paint sealant (unnecessary). I'm surprised nobody has tried to sell undercoating as part of the protection package, or have they?

The trunk tray, wheel locks and mud guards are the more common items, but nothing says any or all have to be part of the package.
