Weird Errors After Battery Runs Out

Hi. Here is the sequence of events that let to my issue:

-Ripped around 8 CDs on accessory mode, with engine off.
-Battery ran out.
-All sorts of errors appeared. I am unable to start the car.
-I jumpstart the TLX with my van.
-The care is able to start.
-I do however get 2 errors on the MID: (1) emissions system problem and (2) Electric Parking Break Problem
-It seems with these errors, the car still runs.

What happened here? What do I need to do?

Take it in.

I had the same issue without the power failure. Car ran fine while I waited to take the car in. Had the issue about 2 weeks after picking up the car. Haven't see the issue since. I have 17K+ on the car.

Good luck.

I did the same CD ripping ritual as you, got the same Christmas Tree of lights.

Next morning I jumpered the car to my wife's and started it up. Then took a long drive to recharge the battery.

Moral of the story is keep the engine going when you rip CDs. The car does not like low batteries.

Similar story here listening to music while checking out all the settings. My battery did not handle the drain well and had to be replaced as it wold no longer hold the charge.

Moral of the story #2 is new batteries also need a break in period.

^ Maybe this will explain what happens to some of them. Not strictly a break in period but initial handling:
