I read all the other threads and issues, but one thing I noticed with mine was my dash still says booting up even after it was disconnected. yes im sure I disconnected it. but should it still say that and am I still going to have battery issues? I had my battery tested and charged last night, rough start this morning before work and an even rougher start after I disconnected it so im letting it run for a while to give it some charge.

If you disconnected it, you shouldn't have any issues. If you do it may be something else going on.

 

I assumed that. But I was curious about why is still says booting up. Heading to autozone now to have them test the alternator and battery again just to be safe since if one does have to be changed it would have to be tonight.

 

It might be because the software might still trying to boot it up despite the hardware from being there. IMO

 

perfectly normal. After disconnecting, it'll still show "booting up", same thing happens on my car after I disconnected mine
