I hear a ticking noise coming from the engine, is this normal?

 

Need more info. Otherwise, we'll all just say you have a bomb under the hood.

 

At idle, i would hear a ticking noise. It's pretty self explanatory.

 

 

It's been happening every since i purchased the vehicle. Just now really paying attention to it.

 

A few people on here have told me to check my fuel injectors. I have the same problem as well. Haven’t had the time yet to check them but, will definitely be doing so this weekend. I’ll let you know if that was the problem or not.

 

If you can hear the ticking noise inside the cabin with the window close then most likely it is your fuel injectors. I had the same issue with mine.
Acura replace the fuel injectors and the ticking noise went away. There is a TSB for this issue. Our direct injection engine is loud but you shouldnt
hear it from inside the cabin. Hope this help.
