Throttle reset?
Throttle reset?
This is more of a question. When I had my 2008 TL I remember that the throttle could get out of sync so to speak and could be reset. I wondering if the same thing can be done with the TLX.
When in accessory mode (motor off) push the throttle all the way down then turn off the motor and continue holding for a couple seconds then lift off. Then wait a couple minutes before starting the motor again. I wonder if the throttle can get out of sync by pushing the throttle too quickly when drive is selected from park or reverse. If that is done the car lags for 2-3 seconds then it starts going. Then afterwards it was more laggy.
I tried this the other day to see if it would do anything. First I turned off my sprint booster so that would not be a variable. I think it has an effect but I am not sure if this is a real thing or if it is in my head or if the out of sync extra lagging throttle is even a real issue.
I just remeber reading people swore by it in the 3G forum back in the day.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
