it just depends on HOW much you want to spend.
recently spent $55 + memory card for the blueskysea b1w... it has a sony sensor...Good picture for $70 all in.

We have bought 4 dash cams off Amazon. Rexing V1. About $100-$125. Works great. Only problem is on my TLX I bought front and rear (all of our other cars just front) and because I added the rear one near the antenna I don't have FM radio reception anymore its just static. Slight annoyance but I use Pandora 99% of the time so I don't mind

 

My main need is for when the car is parked but also while driving is good to have and why I wanted to buy a premium setup.
The sticker shock is a bit much and that's why I haven't pulled the trigger just yet and wanted to get some feedback from the people here.

 

^For a locale with hot climate, you'll need to look for a capacitor type and not a lion battery type

Nice setup, I worked on that Mediatek Chipset in that device not knowing which device it was going into, lol. Tell me about your sub setup as I have the same trunk liner and would like a sub setup like yours if its a pre-fab type setup only.

I re-did a lot of stuffs including wiring from the above link. I have to say 0 (zero) of any kind of noise.

The fiberglass subwoofer was done by the shop,. Everything else was done by me including Big 3 Upgrade (maybe more than 3 lol), and Naviks and added modded AppleTV4g
