Today was minus 37 degrees Celsius or -34 F! My car, although in an unheated garage is not plugged in. NO issues starting. Seats and steering wheel heated quickly and Alcantara seat inserts never feels cold. After a 2+ hour meeting, car parked outside started easily and warmed up quickly and transmission is still quick despite the cold. All settings are on Auto. It really is exceptional - all all the warning systems work fine, unlike some cars such as my 2014 Altima that kick out around -24 C.
Seriously I feel your pain up there, wish you all well. Was 22*F here this morning & with my no longer Northern Blood was freezing my butt off in a winter hunting jacket. Having a heat wave right now warmed up to 42*F, think I will go swimming.
I've been saying for over a year that A-SPEC rocks!
The best $45K you''l ever spend on a vehicle
If there's a better AWD , with accessories, out there, I'd love to drive one
Not perfect, but what is?
Car drove perfectly and made it easy to forget the temp on the other side of the glass. No creaks or groans. Everything responsive. All tech worked. I was impressed. Days like this make me think all the winter/snow testing Acura does in Minnesota is worth it. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a1...-temperatures/
Only thing I noticed was brake pedal getting a little spongy.

At these temperatures, how long does it take for the engine oil to get to optimal temperature? Do you drive gently until then or do drive normally from the get-go? I live in CA and in 50 degree mornings I already feel it takes a long time to get to optimal temps.
