Replacing turn signal

Took a rock to the turn signal on the highway and it shattered. Have a new one arriving tmrw. Looking underneath the car its hard to tell if the singal can be pulled out without taking off the bumper.

Has anyone replaced one on a 2013 TL ?

Thanks.

The owners manual will have instructions on how to change all light bulbs on the car.

Below the lamp are 4 10mm bolts and a plastic clip. Take those out and peel back the fender liner to access the lamp socket.

I need to replace the whole unit not just the bulb.

Sorry my bad. In that case then just look at your new lamp. It will tell you how it's mounted exactly and go from there. If it's mounted from behind just go through the wheel liner from the bottom or the wheel weld. Turn your wheel for clearance.

Just for an fyi - It was only 1 - 10mm bolt underneath, once removed it pulls out and new one clips in.

Thank you, nice to know.

Can you tell us how to removed the new clip on lamp, from outside now? I'm sure others would like to know when changing the bulb.

You don't remove the clip, it stays in place. Simply pull the old out and push the new in.
