Jump Starting the Battery
Hi All,
I had to pull over to help someone jump start their car and noticed that the negative terminal is impossible to access (I can see it from the small hole, but it's not possible to get the jumper cable to fit in).
Do I have to remove the plastic coverings just to get access to the negative terminal? I hope not. I understand that Acura wanted to make the engine bay look clean and it's suppose to make the noise level low at high speeds, but seems impractical for easy access.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

According to the owner's manual, the negative jumper cable should clip onto the "engine block metal hanger" located on the passenger side of the engine.

Thank you all for the valuable information. When I had initially tried this, I used the extral metal "piece" that was sticking out once I removed the positive terminal casing. Perhaps i should have been a bit more patient with the transfer of power.
I will try your suggestions going forward.
