A ghost in my power windows?

A couple of times now I've parked my car, and gone into a store or something and came back to see all my windows (including the moonroof) rolled down about 2 inches. I never do this intentionally...if I do anything with the windows they're all the way up or all the way down. Is there some button combo on the remote that I'm hitting that might be doing this? The last time it happened somebody used my back seat as a trash can :/

If you hold down the unlock button on the remote it will start to roll down all of the windows and open the sunroof until you release the button.

The open door function must be getting depressed in your coat/pants/whatever and this is causing it to go down slightly.

What ^^^ said. Though you have to hit the unlock key once, release, then press it again and hold it down. I'm sure this is somehow happening inside your pocket.

Haha that happened to my wife once in her 3G coming out of the grocery store. She was all freaked out thinking someone was lying in wait for her. Lol I was like "really babe.... someone is just going to hop up in your car and roll ALL of the windows down at the same height." Ahh still cracks me up. Yea ended up being her key somehow did it when it was in her pocket.

haha thanks guys, problem solved.

It's a pretty nifty feature...though I can't really think of a use for it other than going to my friends and saying "can YOU roll all your windows down at once??"

...maybe for airing the car out when it's hot down here in the SoCal summers
