Doors don't lock with fob
Hello. Have a 2010 acura TL 3.5 front wheel drive. My doors lock sometimes with the fob, sometimes 3 of the 4 doors lock and have to manually lock one. When I try to open the doors with the fob sometimes none of the doors open and have to use the key. Its usually the driver door that doesn't open. Is it the driver door actuator that I need to replace??

I have a 2012 FWD I bought with 80K miles in 2015. At about 120K miles, some of my door lock actuators started malfunctioning like yours. Three of the four were acting up and would not unlock or lock some or all of the time. I ended up replacing all four door lock actuators. This is not an uncommon problem with Honda/Acura. When I got the car, the doors automatically locked and unlocked when you take off and stop. I changed this programing (per the owners manual) to only lock and unlock from the door control or FOB. This causes less wear and tear on the actuators and I hope to never have to do this again.
So unless you live in the city where car jacking is possible, I suggest you change the programing to do away with the auto lock/unlock feature. Reorge has a writeup with some pictures on how to do the driver's actuator. Doing this door correctly is critical in that you must get the manual key lock/unlock rod connected correctly to the new actuator. If you don't, and your car battery goes dead with the doors locked, you will have to break a window to get into the car (or pay for a locksmith to come out and open it if he can). I purchased my door lock actuators from Delray Acura. They were about 50$ apiece about 4 years ago.
