After timing belt service odd engine noise

I know there have been a lot of posts about this, but j. My case all the parts were replaced idling pully, and water pump, and have an odd noise. Should I be taking it to a shop? https://youtube.com/shorts/44yzmiwnrvs?si=Ob54ZHrC2Xdi2yrg

could be a bad tensioner or kit, where did you get it from? Did they do a valve adjustment also?

Dont know if they did a valve adjustment (will check on that) got the kit from Amazon, replaced all pulleys, and crank pulley seal. https://a.co/d/74DJj0X appreciate your help with this...

The kit is clearly garbage, and it's the last thing I'd skimp on with a motor costing several thousand. What's the noise you tolking about: that awful knocking or the belt tensioner growling? Was that knocking there before the timing belt was replaced?

This is exactly what happens with the belts in kits like these.
But in this case, the guy was lucky. Usually, he just falls apart without any symptoms.

ther was no noise before the belt and water pump was replaced. Which kit would you suggest, think will have to redo this job. Thanks

I still don't understand what kind of noise exactly bothers you?

its the tick tick noise, sounds like something is loose. I can hear it inside the car when under 1000rpm or idling. And you might be spot on with the tensioner. Will open it up and share what I find. Thanks.

Well, if this knocking was not there, then you need to quickly replace this kit and it is advisable not to start the engine on it.

Took it to a shop and they are not concerned with the noise, regardless, I will go ahead and change the parts out with the kit you mentioned, as its just a matter of time before it fails. Thanks

What do you think about kits made by GATES, are they any good? I changed the timing belt myself from one of those kits, 3 years ago, and so far so good. Knock on wood...lol
