YES! I'm so glad you got the CV2s.

Is that the limited edition finish?

The wheels are the gunmetal finish. Sorry with the pictures at night at taking them with my phone. It doesn't have the best of quality. I do believe the finish limited but if it sells I'm not sure why they would want to limit it. I am curious to see how many wheels I can fit in the car but plan on two trips as I dont want to damage anything in the car. As for the offsets. We went with the highest available to lessen the chance of fender rolling but going with a 285 tire so I won't have so much poke and more wheel protection. I think the offset is either 45 or 42. Will have to double check.

With a 285 u might have to roll those fenders. I have 275 just a razor could fit between fenders and tires. With 10.5 in the back the wheel still pokes out quite a bit. Good luck though

Yea, after seeing your 275, i wanted a 285 for a little less poke, I am a bit conservative. If I have to roll I will roll, but I am also a bit lower and that wheel will generally tuck in more the lower you go. At any rate I need to find someone that can roll the inner lip, my worst nightmare is my actual quarter panel getting rolled.

I think when the tires are too big it starts to take away from the look of the rim somehow when i drop it on coils on monday it will be perfect. The bigger the tire the rim starts to look smaller. Hope to see pics soon though of your setup.

yea I am totally cool with that. I am not much of a fan of the brim of the rim left unprotected. This whole fender rolling thing has gotten me all un easy.

You'll be fine rolling your fenders just take it to a professional. Once I do my camber on monday I'm positive that i will have to roll my fenders even with H&R springs i needed to do the camber but i didn't i ate them tires up in a coupe months.

There is nothing like riding in spec, I would suggest the front ball joint camber kit

Hey Brian, I know this may be a dumb question, but I think the reason they are not very concave is because you didn't want to go too aggressive for fear of hitting the fender...but with having gone a full 10.5" wide WITH a 285, have you ensured you have enough clearance on the INSIDE of the fender...like, behind the rim!?!? That's a LOT of wheel to be hanging out on the other side of the hub.

Gorgeous wheels though, seriously, they will match your car amazingly well.

great wheels but just a lil heads up i dont know why you are goin with such meaty tires if u dont want to roll fenders? Ive got 245 on my wheels now and it wasent rubbing a lil bit it was rubbing a lot.i took my rims of the same day and im gonna get fenders rolled this weekend. Even though im a bit scared about the out come because of the quarter panel it is what it is u know. Maybe thinner tires like a 225 might be a better way to go if you dont want to roll fenders. From what i hear florida has great roads so i dont know what you are so afraid about

i had 20" nitto invos on my challenger, they are heavy as shit, and super meaty. i would never consider putting something like those on the TL in a 20".

just my 2 cents. not hating one bit.

I really don't know what to expect here, the fender will have to be rolled, I am hoping I will be fine after that with the high offset I have chosen so that the wheel is just about flush with the fender. I know it will stick out a bit, but if I don't like it, I am taking the wheels off. All I can say is we will see what happens, I don't have much of any expectations, first time doing something like this. We shall see.

After about taking 25 mintues and about all my strength, I got the spacer adapter off and did a test fit to make sure the wheel would not be hitting anything as far as suspension is concerned. Everything is good in that dept. I didn't want to put all the weight of the wheel on the piece wood and risk breaking the wood or even bending the rim, so I took these pictures with the car jacked up. i think it will tuck in nicely as it goes down.

hey nexson what is the look you are going for because those wheels are great but they will look amazing if you do go with an aggressive stance.
its gonna be close to impossible to go with the same look as your stocks

At least it cleared the inside! I see rolling and maybe even a little more negative camber in your future, my friend

Wheels are all dropped off at Acura. I will have one wheel test mounted in the rear by the end of the day so that vossen can have pictures for reference before rolling. Vossen is more opt to sell wheels that fit rather then minor modifications to make them fit.

Everything is mounted guys, had to raise the car up due to some rubbing in the rear which will be taken care of tomorrow, so right now all I can leave you with is this tease until the car is re lowered.

Already had the 285 ordered, 275 probably would have been a better choice but 285 covers the lip on the rim like I wanted. We put the car down after mounting everything and I had a nice finger gap all around, just how I wanted. I took a drive around the parking lot and it rubbed like crazy. When I got back out, there was a piece of paper size width between the fender lip that needs to be rolled and the tire. We played around with it for a bit, then I just said the hell with it and put all four coils up about 3/4 inch so that I can drive safely down to get my fender lips rolled tomorrow in the rear. The front rubs here and there, I am going to find the plastic it is rubbing on and see if I can play with it a bit. I have heard of heating it up and setting it back as it cools.

I should spoil the heck out of your thread...
I really should...

PS, congrats...bud, they look amazing on the car. Might have to ahead and black or charcoal out all the chrome on the car now (all bezels and grill) Gunmetal to match the rims would be absolute perfection.

You should, but then you know I would be mad lol.

The window trims are most likely the next project. Going to check the price of new ones so I can decide if I want to paint or vinyl wrap.

The wheel offset is a little too wild, thus causing all the rubbing issues.

Will you back down the offset on another set of Vossen's ?

I don't know that a +42 offset is aggresive, it was actually the highest offset avaiable in this wheel. Any wheel that is somewhat aggressive will rub that fender trim inside the quarter panel because it actually is on a downward angle toward the wheel.
