With the spacers, it rides smoother, with the wider stance.

It cust $240 for a set of four spacers all the same size, but if you divide it up like I did then the price goes up to $315, sort of a rip off. I should had just ordered at two different times. The guy said something like it easier to just make four of the same.

Looking awesome. That stance is how it should have come from the factory. Great work.

Can you please pm me the information to order spacers. I might need to order 5mm spacers. Did get aluminum spacers?

Thanks in advance.

Well, If you just want a 5mm spacer, then you don't need a wheel adapter.

I am going to post the information here, so that everyone has it.

Hello, great looking car. How difficult would you say it was to install the lip kit yourself? I'm fairly mechanically inclined, done a few motor swaps, work on bikes, etc. Just haven't touched the TL yet, at all. Thanks

^Agreed, hate the space between the wheel and the top outside edge on the fender.

It's a 25mm space with the 19" HPT wheels on our TL. Looks like a fat lady on skates.

I actually like the 18" wheels better. However, I don't trust wheel spacers.

I would recommend lightweight 18x9.5" with 30 offset(ET) and 245/45 like this STi on Enkie NT03 (without the 205 he's running)\/

Those nuts for the adaptors look to be installed backwards?

the opposite side of the nuts are flat, you are going to want to have the flat part aganist the spacer, not the concave

I think TSX-Tuner is correct. If you look at the spacers themselves, they have a concave in them which leads me to believe that the concave nut portion should mate with the concave of the spacer. That's how mine are on my TL.

My akata and ichiba spacers also have the tapered end going in...helps to center and lock the spacer...although since it's hubcentric and you put thread locker, it probably doesn't matter.

You definitely know what you're doing Brian...the car is done the way it should be done. I'd recommend maybe seeing if anyone is going to fabricate some clear diffusers for the headlights (I don't like the empty look of no diffuser) and some chrome dipped amber bulbs. That's all...the car is perfection...and honestly, I think the Aspec lip on the pre 2012's look better than the less aggressive 2012 front end.

Hope you plan to come to a future meet, I'm sure you'd be able to get some business that way and I'd love to check out your car in person.

Good thing I posted pictures, I am defintely wrong on this one, although I had to pry the spacer off when the nuts were off when I had to run to the store. I am going to have to reverse the nuts.

When is the next meet, i would love to come out!!

Hmmm...not sure, usually in the summer there's some sort of mega meet. Not sure how local you are to Pines, but we've had a mini photoshoot meet with just about 10 cars or less show up. Believe it or not, those are actually a bit more fun IMO.

GTFO! Well, honestly, I'm dying to learn the fine art of prep/paint...if you ever need a hand, I'd love to come by and assist. Or even give you a hand with some mods potentially.

I thought you were from West Palm for some reason...I haven't seen you in this car, I notice any all modded cars pretty much at all times...especially 4G TL's.

"special soap"...ewwwww...
that front end kills ANY 4th GEN front end IMO. If you go to a meet, you will be selling these hand over foot.

Oh, I couldnt make another one of these grilles. To much of a pain. It's been redone 100 times. Anyways I use the foam gun and soap to remove all the grit and grime. When I wax, i seal the paint with some crap, I forgot the name lol

I figured as much...with as much time as you put into it, you'd have to charge people $800 to make it worth your while.

Foam gun, huh...I guess I should step my game up. 2 years ago I got all crazy with my pc7424XP and pads and megs105 and zaino and two bucket method with grit guard. But never got a gun. NBP is hard to keep nice...most would think it looks great, but of course...I'm much more critical.

Funny, I was just going to ask. If you decide to sell the car let me know, I'll give you top dollar for the grille and give you my old one to put on yours.
