I agree swoosh.

Steve I know we can ignore him and move on, but it’s getting pretty absurd now. I know we all can have heated debates but he always has some deleterious comment, debate or no debate; to new users this is just disrespectful and shows them Azine is not a friendly space for advice. At the end of the day this will lead to less active users = less in advertisement revenue for the site.

Carrie sorry that this had to be in your thread, you are a sweetheart and an awesome person that should not be disrespected in such a manner.

Everything will be installed when the car is back from the body shop.
I went with the AirRex management system for now because I got a ridiculous deal on it. Ill run it for at least a year, I may upgrade to Accuair next summer....we will see.

Unlike yourself, I actually post useful info on this forum for other car enthusiasts so I'd appreciate it if you stop trolling in my thread. This is the one and only time I will ask you nicely. After this, if you continue to troll here and the mods continue to do nothing about it then hey whatever happens happens.

If I keep going back and forth with you its gonna get bad, like really bad and I'm gonna end up banned. But guess what...if I get banned, I lose nothing. I already know how to fix my own shit. You're the one that is making yourself look like a douchbag and clearly you are the one that needs help with something as small as installing a fucking lip kit.

no spacers I did the math to figure out the width and offset to buy so I could achieve the look I am running with no spacers. The size of the tire with the slight stretch that i'm running also plays a part in achieving this look.
Wheel fitment - do it once, do it right.
If you are looking to buy some wheels I can help you with fitment if you want.

Post 407 with the stock wheels, the rear has no spacer? Maybe its the angle of the pic but thats looks pretty damn flush.

Actually when I was slammed on my stockies while waiting for my vossens It was nowhere near flush and it looked horrible lol. I didn't care though because I knew my wheels were on the way.

Here is a pic

It looks so bad that it looks like im running camber in the rear and I'm not lol

Yea, I'm confused, it clearly looks like you either have a wider/more aggressive than stock, stock wheel, or spacers?

i just scrolled up and looked again and you are right, it does look wider. No spacers though I swear I don't even own any. The only thing that is different in this pic is I have my winter tires on. They are a lot more meaty. I don't think they are wider at all though. I'll have to check tomorrow.

Thing is he's already been banned at least three times that I'm certain of and made other aliases to avoid the bans. But to me the worst part is you post something like "keep up the bad work mods", when they don't do anything and a mod will immediately join the thread to defend their lack of monitoring. Instead of just doing something in the 1st place, since apparently they're so vigilant. Then they shift the blame and make it your responsibility to bring these matters to their attention and when you do, they ask for extensive proof as to why that member isn't constructively participating and hurting the forum.

If you're not going to do your job, I'm not going to do it for you .

Sorry to derail your thread Carrie, these past few posts though were the perfect example of his and their bs.

I'm sorry, but BOTH of you are wrong.

I was made aware of this thread and what was happening here early on. But I also have a job-I work during the day. Don't you guys work during the day too????

I briefly saw enough today to post a warning as to what was going on in this thread. Knowing that I would be on after work tonight to devote more attention to this thread and the posts.

And I'm smart enough to know who is "stirring the pot" as opposed to who is defending themselves.

If you would like to discuss this further, I'm here-feel free to send me a PM.

This guy is just being a douche on purpose because he likes the attention and the drama.
Im pretty sure we all made our point and I'm also sure he knows how we feel about him.
Lets just ignore him and hope he goes away or stops being an ass.

Carrie- do you have any kind of intake or exhaust mods on your car?

Is air better than coil overs? I have H&R springs now, and if/when I upgrade, I want to be a bit lower but my goal is peak handling performance, not ultimate lowering. What are pros /cons of air vs coils?

Thx

BTW...your car looks amazing. Love those wheels.....

You can get pretty low with the right coilover setup but I'd give air suspension the ultimate lowering title. Years ago air setups were all show, no go, but now a days air suspension is almost as good as coilovers are from a performance perspective. If and when you lower your car and are serious about improving handling get the TEIN SS or Advanced(?) w/ the stiffer springs; the normal springs are also an improvement over stock, just not as much.

Carrie, you know better than to fall for someone trying to get your goat.

And for the record, a FUPA is a good thing.

Your car will be back bigger and badder than ever.

That is all.

Hi

My mods are all listed on the first page of this thread. I do have a takeda SRI and RV6 hi flow pre cats and a RV6 long tube j pipe.
Are you looking for sound or performance? If you are looking for sound grab the takeda SRI but don't let anyone fool you into thinking it'll make your car faster.
If you are looking for performance I'd suggest doing some research on the hi flow pre cats and j pipe, maybe even a cat back. It really all depends how much you are looking to spend and what sound note you are looking for.
Im really really really happy with my RV6 products but ATLP makes great products too (I had them on my 3G) so like I said do some research and get what makes you happy

As far as suspension is concerned air vs. coils I would not say one is better than the other. It really just depends what you are doing with your car. From what you said in your post I would recommend a good set of coilovers for you. The Tein advance are amazing, thats what I am running now while I wait for my air struts to arrive.

Seriously nothing he said concerns me lol. I've been in the car game and on forums a looooong time. If I got all upset every time an insecure man was rude to me I would not have made it this long in the car scene which is mostly male dominated. I've earned my respect here so I don't need to explain or prove myself to him or anyone else. His comments mean absolutely nothing to me.

As for the car, yeah I really don't care about the dents. I mean yeah it sucks but I'm happy to be getting the entire front of my car repainted for free. I was planning on taking the front lip off and repainting it during the air install anyway so this is just saving me some work.

and money!

and by stating it meant nothing, and your fired up responses show otherwise. If your intention was to brush it off, the best way to do that would be to have brushed it off.

I'm just telling you how an outsider sees it. Maybe you didn't mean it that way.

Anyway, post up some pictures of that forklift racecar you took down in the shop!

yeah I could have ignored it but guess what.....I'm kind of a cunt sometimes and that's true, I have no problem admitting to it. Overall Id say I'm a very nice person, I just don't like to be fucked with.

oh and at the forklift racecar - ok here is the story - I work at a performance shop. My boss here has a ton of projects going on and by a ton I mean too many. We have an attic here or I guess its a mezzanine....idk the difference LOL. There was a protege shell up there with a full roll cage welded in that he was selling. A guy came to buy it so this is how we got the car down. Worked perfectly.
