Hi guys this is my first post here.
So with the new software update from KTuner we are allowed to adjust throttle mapping. Here's a screen shot of BASE throttle setting for Accord.Guys can you do for me a favor i have Honda Accord V6 6MT with Acura TL 3.7L SH-AWD Throttle Body installed on my car.
Anyone can make for me a same screen shot of BASE and FINAL setting of Acura TL 3.7L SH-AWD Throttle Body from your software? Please.
From this point i can show my tuner setting and we can make proper adjustment for TL throttle body i will post all setting later.
In order to get to them, right click anywhere on the screen in Ktuner and open "Add tuning Graph" then just click the DBW final and DBW Base dropdown menu items.

You may be confused on what throttle mapping does. It controls the throttle plate. This is not reliant on the throttle body you're running, but rather how aggressive you want the plate to open based on your throttle input at the pedal.

Have your tuner make you a custom throttle map based on how you'd like it to react to your pedal input. It has nothing to do with your throttle body.

 

Correct its manage on how aggressive you want the plate to open based on your throttle input setting. Above image (screen shot) of OEM throttle input setting for 3.5L throttle body Accord/TL. I would like to compare 3.5L vs. 3.7L OEM throttle input setting. The reason is 3.7L throttle body larger and has bigger magnetic module inside throttle. Many people run on modified intake Acura TL 3.7L SH-AWD Throttle Body on 3.5L engine.
Once again is anybody can posted for me screen shot of OEM input setting of Acura TL 3.7L SH-AWD Throttle Body?

I wrote the KTuner software, so I can tell you that you're going about it the wrong way, but that's the great thing about having control with the software... you get to do whatever you want!

 

Hi James! hey you know me this is Val from NYC i send you Accord ECU remember?
So my question ,you are not recommend it to adjust throttle plate for more aggressive responds? Some guy's claim if proper way adjusting throttle plate opening using K-Tuner soft you able to set same setting as Throttle Controller like Sprint Booster or other brand Throttle Controller,so you can save about $300 spending on using Throttle Controller.

Is there a user manual available, telling the users what the KTuner Software can do and what it can't do, as well as which ways are correct and which are wrong ?

 

Hmm..i dont think im try to do something wrong. I just try help some Acura TL\ Accord users who install large 3.7L throttle on 3.5L engine. In my case throttle body run OK! But i belive if we set a list 3.7L TL OEM setting on 3.5 ECU we able run allot better responds and Mpg,s. Im working on custom setting but its not easy to coli rate fot best of proper result. Hey guy,s ! K-tuners end users can you confirm is a TL 3.7L has same seting as show on the screen shot or its different?
