I recently picked-up a 2009 TL SH-AWD and much to my dismay the front right speaker is blown. After reading a little it seems to be a fairly common problem with the TL, which is why I decided not to have acura put the same speakers back in it.
I purchased a set of POLK components and plan on putting them in this weekend. Anyone have any tips, tricks, or warnings when removing the door panels and A-pillars or are they pretty straight forward.

I would have waited until my warranty ran out or make them change to a more reliable brand of speakers. Its not your fault that the speakers are crap.

 

bring it to acura, tell them to change it.. its probably not going to happen again.

I have been searching this board and have not seen anything that shows/ tells how to remove door panels or access the tweeters on a 4G TL.

What am I doing wrong?

Yes I was searching for speaker replacement and front door speaker and tweeter replacement.

I found pictures and details of both by searching for door panel removal and front A Pillar removal in 4G.
