Hey guys this is my first post on AZ! I just bought a 2011 TL SH-AWD w/tech and was wondering if the FM radio can be enabled for RDS so I can see what song/artist is playing. I sat in my friend's 2010 TSX and it had the name of the song and artist displaying on the display where it shows temperature, bluetooth status, and all?


Also, is there an option to "auto-transfer" on the TL? Let's say if I make a phone call from my iphone and then want to transfer to acura's handsfreelink, I have to manually press the transfer button, but the TSX had an auto-transfer option which I thought was sweet..

Im also wondering for those two things too! manually tapping to transfer is so annoying when you are driving

 

there is a feature that displays the songs.. you just have to mess around with the buttons on the dash. ive done it many times.

I finally figure this out guys. For '13 TL with Nav/Tech:

In phone setup (under Cellular phone menu after pressing the phone button), there is an auto transfer setting (phone to auto transfer to HFL or "Hands Free Link"). Turn this on. Any BT/Siri prompt from the phone will auto play through the speakers. Hope this helps. Also as an added bonus, when you dial from your phone - it actually "automatically transfers". Who would have thought it was this easy?
