Control GPS Volume?

The spoken GPS instructions (e.g. "turn right at the next") are much too loud. I cannot figure out how to reduce the volume.

eazy, you havent had much time with the navi huh.. you will learn how to figure out things as you go along..

but to answer nhester question.

you have to go to menu and turn off the voice thing.

i turned mines to lowest so you can just barely notice it but enough to have you turn your head to the screen.

it should be under menu - slide right on the navi knob to go to settings..

You can turn the volume off by just going Info > Setup > Volume > OFF.

No sound with GPS instructions - great that it doesn't cut in to music, but I have missed a turn or 2...

Page 93 of the manual. In System Setup.
The navigation voice volume has 11
settings and can be adjusted by:
• Using the voice control system and
saying “Volume up” or “Volume
down.”
• Selecting Volume and changing the
setting by rotating the Interface
Dial knob.
• Saying “Volume Off,” or selecting
Volume and then OFF.
