Back up camera distance markers

It seems as if the markers on the back up system are off. I can be backing up and put the "9 foot" maker on an object and when I check the distance it is much less. Any suggestions?

Are you lining up the marker with the point at which the object meets the ground? If not, they will not be accurate, they are calibrated to the ground. Using them on a slope will also yield results that are off. Mine are pretty much on. The only thing I can think of that would be causing an error is if the camera moved in its mount somehow.

Billy - I was wrong, there is an adjust ment procedure - check this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-294/backup-camera-alignment-746009/

Booya - according to the manual, dotted line should be 1.5 feet, so,I'd line above that is 3', next line up is 6.5', top line is 9'.

Thanks Ionized for the link, it fixed my cam too close to the left problem. The adjustment can also move the cam up and down too, cool.
