Whooshing noise

Hello acurazine!

I have a 2012 acura tl sh awd, and recently its been making a super loud wooshing noise on and off. It sounds like a ton of air is moving really fast or something is hissing super loud.

The sound comes from the direction of the serpentine belt/timing cover area and started randomly one day. Its worth noting that ive never changed the serpentine belt in the 30k or so miles that ive owned the car (95k - 125k) but I did get the timing belt replaced at 100k.

Any advice would be appreciated (short video attached below)

First, remove the serpentine belt and start the engine. If the noise goes away, the problem lies with the serpentine belt tensioner; if the noise persists, replace the timing belt tensioner. It's simple =)
